The second day of the Leonessa Cup pits the Galaxy against MBG Camignone, a team founded this season and defeated in the first match (1-2 vs. GSO Duomo). For both in fact it is an important crossroads for the economy of the round: the Galaxy with a victory would mortgage access to the knockout stage, the guests would keep their hopes alive to play for passage to the round in the last match.

Bertolini still has to deal with the absentees Martinuz, Magri, Bregoli D, Mazzetti and Boccuti. As in Castelmella, the lineup is unprecedented: Gazzoli; Romeo; Fioretti, Zammarchi, Bergamaschi, Belotti; Gamba (disp. Crea, Bregoli D).

Camignone, in a rosanero outfit, showed up with the classic 2-3-1 and started off strong right away, accomplice to an underwhelming Galaxy attitude.

In the 7th minute to take the lead are the guests, helped by Romeo who after suffering a blow to the face protests and does not follow the action. The reaction of the Giallorossi, however, is immediate and Gamba brings the score back to even at the first useful opportunity, a minute later.

The hosts tried to impose their technical supremacy especially in the neuralgic area of the field with Zammarchi and Bergamaschi, and it was from their inventions that Gamba's next two goals were born, in the 10th and 12th minutes.

On the score of 3-1, the Galaxy begin to splutter, intesting themselves in solitary actions or in too cumbersome solutions. With 5' to halftime, everything happens: on an innocuous free kick Romeo and Gazzoli combine an omelet that leads to the number 4's own goal and the resulting 3-2.

On developments of the kickoff Bergamaschi brings the lead back to two lengths, but a minute later the guests rejoin the match with a diagonal conclusion not read perfectly by Gazzoli. It goes to rest at 4-3.

At the start of the second half, Bertolini sends Crea and Davide Bregoli on for Romeo and Fioretti, respectively. After less than a lap of the hands, the match director awards the maximum free kick for a foul on Bergamaschi; from the penalty spot comes the number 2 himself who signs his goal No. 30 in the season, equaling Magri's record that stood since the magical 2016-2017 season.

Camignone lost compactness and the Galaxy played more carefree thanks to the reassuring lead that had accrued. In minute number 8 of the second half, Davide Bregoli earned a free kick and took charge of the shot. His conclusion is powerful and precise and goes in under the seven: an extraordinary goal. Not the best of the day because Bregoli himself decided to grant an encore shortly afterwards, with an even more beautiful conclusion that ended its run in the same way as the previous one.

Comforted by the four-goal lead Bertolini recalled Belotti and Bergamaschi to himself, throwing Fioretti and Romeo back into the fray. Belotti's bench lasts only a minute, however, because Bregoli is forced to leave the field prematurely due to injury.

The game has little else to report as Camignone gets nervous and for a trifle forces the referee to draw a red card for profanity to one of the best players on the roster. The Galaxy strolled and in the final found the goal for the final 8-3 thanks to Romeo who from a spot kick found his first goal of the season.

The Giallorossi thus centered the arithmetic passage of the round, playing with GSO Duomo for the first position in Group G.
