USO GALAXY 3-3 PoliPez A

The third day of Serie A pits the Galaxy against PoliPez A, a green-and-white team from Pezzaze, currently in last place in the group with the points box still stuck at 0. The Giallorossi are coming off two excellent matches in which, however, they failed to bring home the full spoils, drawing at Villa Carcina in their last outing. Among the unavailable for the Giallorossi are the usual Bertoni, Bergamaschi, Inverardi and Eddiraoui. Compared to the last match Bertolini makes some changes to the starting 7 accomplice to some physical problems of Magri. The 1-4-1 is therefore formed by: Vitali; Romeo; Belotti, Mazzetti, Zammarchi, Fioretti; Gazzoli N.. (a disp. Crea, Magri, Bregoli F., Gazzoli S., Bregoli D., Boccuti).

The hosts immediately started with the accelerator pressed and made it clear they wanted to impose themselves from the first bars. In the 3rd minute Belotti signed his first goal in a Galaxy jersey by making the most of the perfect execution of a corner kick scheme kicked by Mazzetti. The guests reacted immediately and, thanks to a wrong exit from the blocks by the men in gray jerseys, immediately had a chance to equalize, but the green-and-white center forward ate a goal already made.

Equalizing the count of wasted chances is Fioretti, perfectly served by Mazzetti a little later. In minute number 8 Francesco Bregoli took the place of Belotti, who injured his back after a bad fall.

In the 13th minute came the guests' equalizer with a mocking conclusion from 25 meters that surprised Vitali.

The Galaxy could run rampant, but cynicism is not at home, and among the chances thrown to the wind are mainly Mazzetti and Francesco Bregoli (the latter on more than one occasion). The Polipez never appeared in Vitali's sides, except with sporadic and harmless conclusions from outside. It ends at 1-1 in the first half. Tight score to the Giallorossi, who were able to create several goal balls, but failed to finalize them properly.

The second half began with an immediate cold shower for the Magica Armata, punished beyond measure by another conclusion from outside on which, however, this time Vitali could do nothing.

The tactical canvas of the match did not change, with the Galaxy masters of the game and the green-and-whites holed up in their own half waiting to restart on the counterattack. In the 33rd minute Belotti took over the right flank, subbing in for an excellent Fioretti, while Nicola Gazzoli gave way to Davide Bregoli. The ant's dynamism allowed them to win good free kicks, but even in these cases the Galaxy did not take full advantage of the chances.

After the damage, however, comes even the mockery: in the 41st minute the guests double the lead, sealing the goal of the momentary 1-3 again with a conclusion from outside the box.

Bertolini chose to risk Magri at the expense of Zammarchi and shortly afterwards to insert Boccuti for Francesco Bregoli as well. It was precisely from a perfect opening by Boccuti that the 2-3 goal was born in the 49th minute: Belotti served on the right skips past the direct opponent and fires a missile into the cross on the second post with which he gives his team an electrifying finale.

In the last of the three minutes of stoppage time allowed it is Boccuti again who is the protagonist, earning a free kick from an inviting position. On the ball goes Mazzetti who wisely serves near Romeo defiladed on the right. The number 4 puts the ball back into the center and the first to get to it is Belotti with a precise turn at the far post. Long Street Park explodes with joy and the match ends on a 3-3 scoreline.

A point that is really too tight for the Galaxy, authors of a game played excellently, but guilty of not being able to materialize the great amount of chances created. On Saturday, the Giallorossi will be guests of Nave, coming off an ugly defeat on the field of Queen FC.
