On the very hot afternoon of Saturday, October 15, the Galaxy pay a visit to Nave. There is only a one-point difference in the standings between the two teams, and from the moment the Giallorossi bus arrives it is clear that the match will be fiery. The Magica Armata supporters, led by Zia, were escorted to the guest sector by the authorities present so that there would be no pre-match clashes.
Mr. Bertolini rejoined Eddiraoui and Bergamaschi among the available players, both on their first call-up for the season. Bertoni and Inverardi remain out, joined by Davide Bregoli due to work commitments. The starting 7 is therefore composed of Vitali; Romeo; Gazzoli S, Magri, Mazzetti, Fioretti; Bergamaschi (a disp. Crea, Zammarchi, Bregoli F, Eddiraoui, Gazzoli N, Boccuti).
The hostile weather does not intimidate the Galaxy who, after less than 30 seconds from the opening whistle, bring Magri to the net at the end of a beautiful action finished by Romeo.
The Giallorossi took the game into their own hands and began to dominate far and wide. Chances for the hosts could be counted on the fingers of one hand, and the only dangerous ring was a turn by the center forward on which, however, Vitali guarded well and let slide out. Magri and Mazzetti dominate at the crucial point of the field and, thanks to a precious yet unintentional veil by Simone Gazzoli, the Galaxy double right with Mazzetti on his second center of the season.
At halftime the referee detects a touch (which in reality there is not) by Fioretti on the white-blue outside inside the area and therefore decrees the kick from 11 meters. Vitali is displaced and the score moves to 1-2. Minimal lead that lasts only a few moments, however, because again the award-winning firm Mazzetti-Magri packs the goal of 1-3 thanks to a perfect scheme from a corner kick. The first half did not offer any other noteworthy rattles, except for a great save by Vitali on a free kick kicked over the barrier.
The second half saw the same performers as the first half, and as expected the plot did not change. In the 28th minute Bregoli took the place of an exhausted Simone Gazzoli and a few minutes later Zammarchi took over from Mazzetti.
With a quarter of an hour to go the hosts came back under thanks to the goal of the momentary 2-3 on the developments of a corner kick on which Romeo was overpowered by the direct opponent.
The Galaxy's excellent moment is perceived by the great mental maturity in the critical moments of the match and, as happened in the previous three outings, the Giallorossi come out great. Bertolini opted to bring in Eddiraoui in place of Fioretti and in the 39th minute Bregoli took full advantage of Bergamaschi's valuable service for the goal of the new double advantage. The hosts broke down and paved the way for the Giallorossi by staying with 6 men for protests. Crea took Romeo's place and the game effectively ended there, but in the final minutes there was time for 4 more Castegnatese-branded goals: first Nicola Gazzoli (substituted for Bergamaschi) can't miss on Eddiraoui's assist, then Boccuti (who entered in place of Magri) frames as a true Tanque a spiovente by Bregoli; next is Eddiraoui to find the goal on Zammarchi's assist and to close the match on 2-8 it is again Boccuti to insacrate with absolute tranquility served again by Eddiraoui.
It was a crucial match to win in order to hang on to the locomotive of the Group that is traveling fast and already practically split in two.
On Saturday the Galaxy will host Queen FC, winner of the last Provincial title. It will be a battle.
