The fifth day of Serie A pits Adro and Galaxy against each other for a challenge with the scent of third place: with a win the hosts would impose themselves as the third force in the league, giving a strong signal to the championship and keeping S.Giovanni and Boca Sampa breathing down their necks; while with an external victory the Galaxy would reach at 9 precisely the franciacortini.

Slowly Mr. Valenza is rediscovering all the pieces of the roster at his disposal; the latest in chronological order is Eddiraoui, definitely back from Morocco and ready to impose himself in the Giallorossi chessboard. Gamba (still in the States) and Vitali (knocked out until February) remain absent, joined by disqualified Bregoli.

The Galaxy take the field with Martinuz; Romeo; Bertolini, Magri, Mazzetti M, Belotti; Bergamaschi (a disp. Crea, Lamberti, Mazzetti A, Fioretti, Eddiraoui, Boccuti).

The Giallorossi start well, but luck looks the other way. Benefiting from this are the hosts who with a conclusion find themselves ahead by two goals in the 9th minute; but let's go in order. In the 8th comes the first goal that unlocks the match on a free kick from a defiladed position on which Dibu does not arrive. The reaction of the Giallorossi is immediate with Magri who kicks from the distance, but the broadside shatters on the post, the ball splashes near Bergamaschi who has only time to coordinate, but once again the conclusion is printed on the same post; on the reversal of the front the Gialloneri earn a throw-in taken centrally for the cut of the outside that turned back raises a bell without art nor part, it comes out a slant that first hits the post and then the knee of Martinuz thus depositing in the net. Funny for those who think they've had bad luck on episodes, but that's part of the beauty of soccer.

The Galaxy do not let the discouragement get them down and slowly resume grinding out play and chances, but the goal seems bewitched. In more than one circumstance the extreme goalkeeper saves his own from certain goal, in others the Magical Army lacks a pinch of precision. Except for another well-kicked (and parried) free kick, Adro did not make itself more dangerous. In the 22nd minute the Galaxy earned a corner kick, Mazzetti saw Bertolini free and offered him an opportunity to kick it in from outside; the number 17 was good at keeping the ball low and slipping it in at the first post, where the goalkeeper could not reach. It is the goal that was needed to further shake up the match. On the wave of enthusiasm, the Giallorossi forced the hosts to hole up in their own half of the field and just before the double whistle packed a spectacular move for the goal that was worth the much-deserved equalizer: Martinuz kicks off the action by serving Romeo who opens up on the left, Bertolini changes the field to Belotti who is good at playing vertically to Bergamaschi, who offers support to Magri, the number 6 closes the triangulation by serving Belotti deep who from first makes a cross to the second post where Mazzetti is positioned. Easy play for the 19 who from two steps ensures the Galaxy go to rest at 2-2. The inertia hangs on the side of the guests, reinvigorated just enough to come in and split the game. From the 29th, in three laps of the clock, the Giallorossi scored three times: first with Belotti, who came face-to-face with the goalkeeper after a delightful touch by Bergamaschi; a minute later again from a corner kick with Mazzetti, who fired hard toward the center, finding the fatal deflection of an opponent; and finally with Bergamaschi, who was good at being ready at the culmination of a triangulation with Lamberti (who had entered in the meantime in Mazzetti's place) and Belotti. There were no more signs of life from the hosts, completely at the mercy of the Giallorossi. Mr Valenza launches Fioretti in place of Bertolini and Mazzetti A in place of Belotti, with Lamberti being moved to the right out.

The only flaw in the Galaxy's game was just that, a substantial general relaxation thinking they had closed the game at halftime. However, credit must be given to Adro for never having stopped believing they could reopen a game that seemed prematurely over. Down by three goals the hosts found the spaces that until that moment the Galaxy had been good at not conceding and within 5 minutes the score was tied again. 5-5 with 5' to go. Mr. Valenza stops the changes of Crea, Boccuti and Eddiraoui and calls a vital time-out. The Giallorossi reconnect the plug to the brain and from there on there is no game again. In the 49th minute, it was Magri who put the Magical Army back in the lead, putting into the net again a powerfully kicked free kick by Bergamaschi. The Galaxy continued to maintain control so as not to concede any more chances to the Yellow Jackets. Shortly before the allotment of recovery time, the "Lambada" also arrived for the final 5-7: Bergamaschi in personal action fought with the direct marker, between the two quarrelsome players popped up Lamberti who with a chest touch adjusted just enough the ball to jump over the goalkeeper and put the ball on his left. With the goal unguarded el Diez can do nothing but wait for the embrace of his teammates. Game, set, match. There is only time for the ejection of an opponent after a punch thrown at Fioretti.

The Galaxy on their third try find their first win away from home and send an important signal to their direct competitors, giving a lesson on the field to opponents more busy talking than playing.

At the moment Boca and St. John's seem distant, but with a little continuity the Giallorossi can certainly have their say. On Saturday come Green Meadows, just one length behind Magica Armata and coming off a draw in the derby with ATL.
