It seemed everything was already settled in the Giallorossi's house, but opportunities must be seized and that is what happened in Castegnatello today morning, less than 12 hours before the close of the soccer market.
After saying goodbye to Ravarini, Serra and Pol, the Galaxy had put a new battery of reinforcements on the books in due course, a mix of nostalgia and novelty with the signings of Nicola Gazzoli, Davide Bregoli and Michele Belotti. The market had been the initial priority, only to be able to focus all forces on the change of ownership. Numerically full-despite Bertoni's prolonged absence-the Giallorossi had already made it known that they did not want to move any more pawns in this market session, so much so that it led the club to publish the official numbering list for next season on its social channels.
Now the photo is no longer available, promptly deleted after the officialdom of the newly acquired Mattia Mazzetti, Castegnatese class of 1996.
Always one of the most qualitative elements of his vintage, Mazzetti found himself released a few days before the start of the new season and his attorney, Matteo Valenza, proposed him to the management. It only took a few moments to find an agreement and here is the officialdom:
USO Galaxy announces that it has reached an agreement for the 2022/23 season with Mattia Mazzetti, a midfielder, class of 1996, who is currently released. Ready for him the #19 jersey. Welcome to the glorious Giallorossi family and best of luck!
The Galaxy thus go on to add quality to a department already rich in technique. Mazzetti completed this morning at GalaxyLab the usual medical examinations and will already be available for the team's upcoming commitments.
