+++ The rounds of the Leonessa Cup have been drawn! +++

In Nyon, as per tradition, the draws for the 26 rounds of the UEFA Leonessa Cup were held. This edition sees a return to the dear old format, shelved due to the pandemic in the last two seasons.

The 104 registered teams have been grouped into four-team groups, with one-leg Italian-style matches, before proceeding to the knockout phase where the top two in each group and the best six third-placed teams will participate.

The Galaxy have been placed in Group G, along with Castelmella, MBG Camignone and GSO Duomo: on paper one of the easiest groups of the competition. All of the Giallorossi's opponents took part in the Serie B Championship, struggling to place in the upper zones of their respective groups.

Woe betide, however, if they let their guard down. As history teaches us, the Galaxy have often failed to live up to expectations when the oddsmakers gave them the edge.

The adventure begins on Saturday 22nd April at 18.30 in Castelmella, and then continues at home on 29/04 against MBG Camignone and on 06/05 against GSO Duomo.
