The 14th day of Group 2 gives the Galaxy an away trip to territory unexplored by the Magical Army. They fly to Bovegno, a cold village of two thousand inhabitants located in Alta Val Trompia. For the Giallorossi contingent, the logistical organization of the trip is problematic, given the absence of an airport or station in the vicinity and the impossibility for the coaches to tackle the narrow, steep hairpin bends of the place.

Bertolini does not recover Zammarchi, loses the Bregoli brothers and will have to give up Eddiraoui for the rest of the season. The good news is Bergamaschi's return to the squad, albeit in less than optimal condition. The Giallorossi are called for a victory after the not up to par performance in the previous round of the championship, but especially to keep alive the Provincial hopes through the 4th place. The starting 7 is composed of Martinuz between the posts; Romeo the only defender; Belotti on the right, the duo Magri and Mazzetti in the middle, Bergamaschi on the left and Gamba as center forward after winning the ballot with Boccuti (on disp. Crea, Gazzoli, Fioretti, Boccuti).

The narrow dimensions of the field make it clear from the first minutes that it will be a hard-fought game open to the last. The first bad news comes in the 5th minute with Gamba's injury after a shot from outside the box. The number 20, in his first game as a starter, is forced out after just under 300 seconds. An ultrasound at GalaxyLab is scheduled for later in the week to assess the extent. Bergamaschi takes his place as center forward and Fioretti settles in on the right flank.

Little more than a minute goes by when the hosts find the 1-0 goal after a short rebound by the defense on a corner kick situation: the Black and Green exterior petrifies Martinuz with an impassable trajectory that meekly slots into the cross.

The match is more complicated than expected because the Pezzaze boys are well arranged on the field and concede little to the Galaxy, trying to exploit on the restart the supports offered by their star and captain in attack. In the 14th minute Fioretti was sanctioned with a yellow card for cleverly stopping a counterattack. A short time later the Giallorossi found the equalizer with a spectacular reverse by Bergamaschi on a tower by Magri. In the 22nd minute it was Bergamaschi again who signed the guests' goal: Fioretti is good at slipping off the ball on the right and kicking at goal, the goalkeeper's rebound is weak and the first to get to the ball is the Giallorossi number 2 himself for the easiest of tap-ins. The lead, however, lasts just two minutes because the hosts find the right hole for the 2-2. The first half thus ends in a draw.

Bertolini makes no changes to the chessboard and the start of the second half smiles on the Giallorossi. In the 28th minute, Belotti unloaded a rocket from midfield that kissed the crossbar and sailed into the cross of the posts defended by the petrified Black and Green goalkeeper. Two minutes later Bergamaschi scored his personal hat trick directly from a free kick, sending the Galaxy up 2-4.

In the 34th minute Bertolini decided not to take unnecessary risks and took over Fioretti (cautioned) for Gazzoli performing the Inzagata par excellence. In the next two laps of the clock, however, the Giallorossi capitulated twice and the game returned to the tracks of balance. It was Mazzetti who put the Galaxy back ahead in the 39th minute with a free kick from distance that went through the scrum created in the penalty area. Bertolini decides to cover up by inserting Crea to switch to a more shrewd 2-3-1, taking over the very author of the goal. The move does not pay off immediately because the lead fades moments later with the neroverdi finalizing a nice maneuvered action from the right. The match is sizzling and very intense. In the 42nd minute, Belotti combined with Bergamaschi opening the right saucer and finding the trajectory to place the ball at the far post and put the Galaxy back ahead. A minute later, the Black-Greens found the equalizing goal again with a free kick from midfield that was kicked flawlessly and, again, the ball hit the crossbar. Crea's entrance on the field allowed Magri to advance his range of action and the Galaxy began to press the hosts in their own half with increasing intensity. The last few minutes are a uniquely yellow-hued forcing, and the chances begin to pour in. The best action of the match develops on the right, with an all-first play between Magri, Bergamaschi and Gazzoli: the outside number 15 then puts in the middle again for Bergamaschi, but the ball runs through the entire small area without the center forward being able to touch it just enough. A little later from the developments of a corner Magri hits the crossbar, but bad luck has not yet run its course. Belotti, set up by Magri, stands out with a header over the direct marker but the ball once again finds opposition from the crossbar. The Galaxy continued to hammer away and the opportunity again came at the feet of the captain on the edge of the box, his conclusion was powerful but incredibly it was printed on the post, the ball remained playable but Bergamaschi stumbled over the ball and failed to rebound into the net. It seems like a curse, but the Giallorossi do not stand for it, driven probably by a sense of pride developed not to thwart the 45-minute drive to Bovegno. The man of destiny is once again Belotti, whose winning framing at the last second of the game sends the Giallorossi bench into a frenzy: Magri sees the insertion to cut in at the second post and draws a rainbow over the head of his teammate, who is good at finding the right coordination to pierce the goalkeeper. Apotheosis.

Thus ends a hard-fought and electric match from the first to the triple whistle. In the end it was - with merit - the Galaxy, who were good at believing in it until the very end and the authors of a test of great character.

Next up, the Magical Army will host the tail end Nave, surprisingly victorious in the last round against Queen, second in the class.
